Teaching Philosophy The way I work with students somehow resembles the Peter Principle in that I give them tasks until they reach a point in which they fail to fulfill and that is where I come in to help them. In other words, I diagnose a problem and work on it. Accordingly, I deliver my lectures unorthodoxly to create a friendly atmosphere with no psychological tension by utilizing the Horatian notion of "Instruct & Delight". Another thing I prioritize is to introduce them to different philosophies of cultures through their university material. I link what they ought to learn to real life and I tend to provide examples and analogies from various cultures. Thus, my academic duty lies in letting the students be able to use English in all walks of life and facilitating the learning process. I believe that the role of any teacher is key to reach successful autodidacticism after graduation.
